CHILLOX คืออะไร ?

CHILLOX คือโซลูชันระบบจัดเก็บพลังงาน Thermal Energy ขั้นสูง จากบริษัท เท็กซ์พลอร์ (Texplore) หนึ่งในกลุ่มบริษัทของ SCG Chemicals (เอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์) พัฒนาขึ้นบนเทคโนโลยี Phase Change Material (PCM) เพื่อควบคุมอุณหภูมิอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพพร้อมช่วยลดการใช้พลังงานอย่างยั่งยืน

หลักการทำงาน

CHILLOX ใช้ประโยชน์จากหลักการของสารเปลี่ยนสถานะขั้นสูง(Phase Change Material: PCM) เมื่อมีการเปลี่ยนสถานะ(เช่น จากของแข็งเป็นของเหลว หรือกลับกัน) วัสดุจะดูดซับหรือปลดปล่อยความร้อนแฝง (latent heat) ซึ่งช่วยให้ควบคุมอุณหภูมิได้อย่างเสถียร

โดยPCM ของ CHILLOX ถูกพัฒนาจากผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ได้มาจากกระบวนการผลิตโพลีโอเลฟินจากSCG Chemicals และออกแบบให้สามารถใช้งานในช่วงอุณหภูมิที่ต้องการเช่น -40 °C ถึง +40 °C
