EcoRevo is a novel additive masterbatch developed under concept of “Recycle & Beyond” that is friendly to recycle process and enable self-destructive mechanism when plastic product/waste is mismanaged so called leaked into the environment. Light (for example, sunlight), heat, and moisture all work together to actively accelerate polymer breakdown (i.e. de-polymerization). Then, natural microbes are attracted by a unique “microbe attractant”, allowing subsequent transformation to biomass and water. EcoRevo leaves no "microplastic" at the end of its self-destructive processes, hence environmentally friendly with no impact on ecotoxicity, easy to use and recyclable. EcoRevo is complied with current food safety regulations.
Typical Applications
EcoRevo-PR (for rigid application) and EcoRevo-PF (for flexible application) is effective, in particular, in PP, including homopolymers, and random copolymers.
EcoRevo is recommended for single use PP plastic products such as
- Thermoformed-PP products (e.g. cups, trays, lids)
- Thin wall injection molded-PP products (e.g. cups, trays, pots, tubs, lids)
- Blown-film-PP products (e.g. shopping bags, bags intended for hot and cold food)
