Ceramic Industry

Ceramic production process uses kilns for firing of their products to sinter their raw materials to required products. Firing is a key process in the manufacture of ceramic products, as it controls many important properties of the finished ware. The energy cost is around 30-40% of all production in ceramic industry.

The application of high emissivity coatings in furnaces is believed to improve the heat transfer from combustion to the product inside the kilns that results on effectively increase radiation heat transfer and save energy without compromising process reliability and safe operation.
